GERSDORFITE PRINT ON SILK
The story starts with having placed a small crystal pyramid under my bed in my Paris apartment, not really knowing what to expect, hoping for better sleep.
After a while, I found myself clear dreaming in a sleep paralysis state. My body felt like frozen but my mind and senses were very present. I could feel my body lying in a horizontal position in the bed, but in the same time it seemed to occupy another space, one within a pyramid, levitating. A familiar voice I heard seemed to reassure me as it was guiding me trough this process. My rational mind was there taking notes quietly, knowing that it should not interfere. Suddenly, something inside myself was activated by an inner light and energy moving up and down the spine, it felt like a body technology I was not aware of yet. My consciousness shifted to another place, experiencing a state of bliss, as if a veil of ignorance was being dropped and my perception changed. The rational side was unable to find a reference point within the experience that followed. What I remember from this mystical excursion is that somehow past present and future were brought together in a second of the earth time. My body`s boundaries dissolved, and so I felt larger, changing size and proportion, like entering wonderland. When I was back, actually when my rational mind was again present, I felt as if years could have passed, based on the experienced time-lapse. Confused, I woke up, trying to make sense of all this. In the morning I found my subscribed science magazine on the table, which just arrived. By opening it up randomly there it was: a clear picture of the great pyramid of Gizeh- what a coincidence!
I have designed the “pyramid dress” having in mind that quiet space within, a space of connection. The gersdorfit stone here depicted grows naturally into pyramid shapes. I have found it within my trip to Morocco, in Mibladen.
